Not as fantastic-sounding as some of the other things mentioned here, but I thought it would be interesting to discuss how electrons move between metals and semiconductors.
Could we go into superfluidity? I remember reading about superfluid helium having some really interesting properties.

ReplyDeleteTunneling/tunnel injection would be interesting to look at. As I understand, they are the basis for solid state memory technology (flash memory).
